Coronavirus has become a really big deal over the last several weeks. There’s no denying that. Churches are expecting low attendance or cancelling their public worship experiences altogether to lead the way in keeping their community safe from the spread of this disease. But then, most churches are left wondering how they’ll keep their organization strong and their people engaged in their faith while public worship gatherings are sent to the back burner.
We’ve said for years that “Church isn’t about this building or this hour of your week. The church is you.” But now we have to figure out what that means in a situation where we are forced to be the church outside the walls of the church building in an environment where personal interactions are limited to mostly digital, remote experiences.
Most churches are scrambling to figure out live streaming. In case you didn’t know, our Digital Church Platform has live streaming integrations built in, and if you reach out to us via chat, we can help you test and implement your live stream from any major livestreaming platform. You can even stream for free via facebook or youtube.
That said, there’s another approach we’ve built that we’d like to share with you. Check out this facebook live video for more details, or look at the live demo page at https://yourdomain.church/snowday to see it in action.
